If your child will be entering 7th grade or higher in the fall, all schools in California will be requiring documentation of vaccination against pertussis. This vaccine, called Tdap, or Adacel, is routinely given to all patients at their 11-year-old well visit. If your child is overdue for a well visit, or you think her or she may not have gotten this vaccine, please check with our staff or your child's doctor.
